Managing a home involves a lot of things most of us rarely stop to think about. If
we were to take time (as if we had the time to do this) to sit down and write out
of the things we do to manage a household the endless list of must do's and want
to do's would be overwhelming. Many of us are forever looking for ways to conserve
money on basic household items and save money in the home budget in every facet that
we can scrape by with. Especially with the current economy. Taxes and insurance
keep going up. The costs of basic living necessities are forever increasing. To make
matters seem worse, most of us are not experiencing a pay increase to coincide with
these increases. Not all is such seemingly doom and gloom. There is still a lot to
enjoy in life. However, many of us have less money to use for enjoyment than we used
to. So what are we to do? We can conserve the money we do have by finding more affordable
alternatives to every day needs.
In this segment of the Dogwood Tales web site I am sharing such alternatives that
I have found that work for me. I hope that you will find that these tips and
information will be helpful to you as well - whether it is learning how to make your
own laundry detergent, to fixing things around the house yourself, a simple
organizational tip, or something else.
So check it out and get excited about conserving your hard earned money!
